Deeside Brewery update

From http://iansaleadventures.blogspot.com/

I don't know what happened to the original date for the Deeside Beer Festival that was due to be held last month whilst I was away, but I understand it is now going ahead this Saturday (17th August) at the Potarch Hotel again:

Unfortunately, I still won't be able to attend as we're off Fringe-ing this weekend. Hope it goes well.

Related news is that the Deeside Brewery has finally made its long-awaited move to its new premises to the north of Banchory (just along from the Cowshed restaurant). They are in an old farm building and have started production there. Two new employees - one primarily on sales, the other mostly brewing - are trying to get the business growing. A brewery sign will be going up on the building very soon.

As before, most sales are in bottles or keg, with Macbeth the only regular product in cask, although occasional brews of Talorcan and Laf will be cask as well.
