St. Peter's Well

From http://iansaleadventures.blogspot.com/

Yesterday's Sunday Times contained an article guaranteed to revel up Mr. Jones and a few other CAMRA regulars, who remember the battle that Houston Brewery had a number of years ago over their use of the St. Peter's Well brand name:

A couple of other beer related business articles recently - the first concerned an Australian consumer revolt against attempts to water down VB, one of their iconic brands:

Personally, I thought VB was pure p**h anyway, no matter the strength.

The next story was the publication of M & B's latest results and the news that they are apparently no longer going to chase growth for its own sake - hooray:

Btw, great festival - well done to Richard and everyone who helped out. I don't think I had a bad, or even poor, beer on any of the 3 days. Some, like Nessun Korma, were a bit of an acquired taste, but they were mostly pretty interesting. Citra Burst from Alechemy won it for me, but I'll be interested to hear what was voted beer of the festival?
