Cairngorm tasting

The snow this week meant that Merlin from Cairngorm couldn't make it through to Banchory for the tasting evening at the Douglas Arms on Thursday, so Sandy from the Deeside Drinks Emporium had to do the talk himself.

About 15 hardy souls made their way along and the evening went well. All 8 of Cairngorm's bottled beers were sampled and we each consumed 4-5 pints in all, so it was a fairly lively event.

The Douglas has had Santa's Swallie on this week, but my best pints of the week came at the Stag last night - Nechtan was on and it was in superb condition.
