Deeside ale update

From http://iansaleadventures.blogspot.com/

The Douglas Arms second "Xmas special" after Santie's Swallie last week was, like the Justice Mill in Aberdeen, Rocking Rudolph from Hardys and Hansons - although, unlike JM, the Douglas still had their heating functional! Excellent ale - pretty hefty at 5% however.

Took a trip out to the Potarch on Saturday night and they are still stocking Cairngorm ales - this time Sheepshaggers "Gold" - I hadn't previously noticed the addition of the latter wording - must have been blinded by the main title.

The Learney Arms, Torphins last night had 2 ales on - Trade Winds was just finishing, but fortunately Santa's Swallie was there as back-up.

....... and look out for the online video debut of our festival organiser Richard Jones. Check http://videos.arte.tv/fr/videos/le_blogueur-3596880.html after Thursday morning when it's due to be aired again on French TV apparently.
