I passed the Potarch Hotel last night and the bar is still open, despite the announced departure of the tenant/chef. I haven't yet seen the plans that are apparently displayed at Ballogie Estate for conversion of the Potarch Hotel in to an upmarket spa hotel and I'm not sure yet what the time frame for this is.
