Just 12 days to go until CAMRA's lobby of parliament a week on Wednesday - 12/12/12 no less. Don't suppose there's any from our area going down to London for this, but the brewers themselves are also trying to apply pressure - viz. recent Times article on Fuller's financial results:

A mere 15% abv, but judging by what you hear, it appears there is a market for strong beers. I wonder how long it will be, however, before somebody comes out with a "beer" with a higher abv than Brewmeister's Armageddon's 65%?
