Costa del Sol

Despite this area of Spain being, notoriously, something of a good beer desert, I set about to find something within touching distance of our Marbella resort and came across La Catarina (http://lacatarinacraft.com/home/). It's located in a semi-industrial area, well away from the usual tourist areas:

We had to have 3 attempts at getting in - it doesn't open until 6 pm and, even then, only from Wednesday to Sunday. Typical dark, rough and ready industrial/Brewdog-y design inside. They brew 4 styles of their own beers on site - Blonde, American IPA, Wheat and Dark - and supply another 6 brands on draught:

There's an extensive food menu, but it's brought in from a nearby establishment and isn't cooked on site.

La Catarina aside, I haven't spotted anything else decent locally - although I didn't travel as far back as the city of Malaga - but quite a few of the supermarkets have started stocking what could loosely be described as "craft" ales from other areas, including a few English ones - e.g. Marston's.
