More Oregon Ale Adventures

Everyone's in to growlers here - even the new deli that just opened - Cartwright's - has got a huge selection of beers to choose from:

There's more beers available here than in any of the pubs! We filled our growler with number 7 - Arch Rock's Pistol River Pale - and very nice it was too.

Yesterday (Thursday) we popped along to the Oregon Pour Authority, who had a "Tap Takeover" promotion on with the Southern Oregon Brewery. They had 4 of their beers on tap - Hefeweizen, Nice Rack Pale Ale, Big Blue Pils & Pin-Up Porter. Tried them all, but as usual, a bit too strong for our liking - even the Pils was over 10%!

Still, I won a t-shirt in the raffle. Here's Jo and I enjoying some beer at the bar:
