Newcastle

On a day trip to Newcastle last Saturday to see the footy, managed a few beers. First stop was meant to be the Centurion Bar at the station, but accidentally went in to the other bar there, which had OSH on draught. The Centurion is the better bar with a wider selection of ales - a couple from Wylam plus Jarrow's Rivet Catcher, and Deuchar's and Black Sheep.

Moved on to Tilley's Bar - home supporters only - where the choice was pretty interesting:


Next stop was the Newcastle Arms, a real football pub - stowed out.

Had a quick house ale at the Toon Wa' after the match - nice pub and a good ale selection as well.
