Deeside Piper articles

From http://iansaleadventures.blogspot.com/

In this weekend's local paper the following articles on the re-opening of the Forbes Arms and a report on the Deeside Beer Festival featured:

Out and about this week, the Legion in Banchory had a fine pint of Hooky Bitter and the Boat Inn, Aboyne had Trade Winds and Ossian. Banchory Golf Club has got Bombardier on just now - the beer's OK, but how awful is that TV advert? Bang On, indeed!

Had several fine pints of Macbeth in the Burnett Arms on Friday night. Unusually, this was the only beer on - normally Deuchar's is on all the time, often at the expense of the other Deeside pump, which always seemed to be treated as back-up only, but this time it was the other way round. Could this be the effect of having a new (ex Wetherspoon's) Bar Manager?

We had hoped to be able to christen the new Burnett Arms house beer from Deeside, but we were a tad too early, judging by the posters on the wall:

Will make a point of going there next week.
